Sheriff’s Investigators Seek Help Locating 4

Sheriff’s investigators are asking for help in locating three men and one woman wanted on outstanding felony warrants.

Investigators are searching for Jaime Aries, 22, of Fillmore, who is wanted on suspicion of killing a man in Santa Paula in January. Authorities suspect Aries of shooting two men in Santa Paula and stealing their car. Nineteen-year-old Richard Macias died.

Aries allegedly took the car and later set fire to it.

Authorities say he has used up to a dozen aliases, including James Baron, Dave Burton, Scott Burton, James Camaroon, James Scott and Scott Burtt.

He is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs about 165 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. He has a “1” tattooed on his left arm and a “3” tattooed on his right. The letters “VFT” are tattooed on the middle finger of his left hand.

He is considered armed and dangerous, officials said.

James Patrick Yunis, 21, is wanted for failing to appear in court.

Yunis, who was facing burglary and drug-possession charges, is described as 6 feet tall and weighing about 150 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has a cross tattooed on his right hand.

Brandon Wayne Cheek, 20, is wanted for missing a scheduled court hearing for drug charges. Cheek is described as about 5 feet, 10 inches tall, about 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. He has “Cheek” tattooed on his left arm, and three dots tattooed on his left hand.

Investigators also are looking for Toni Marie Markham, 44, in connection with probation violations. Markham, who has lived in both Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, was convicted on burglary and drug charges but given probation in both cases, which she violated, authorities said.

She is described as 5 feet, 6 inches tall, about 145 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She has “MY RC” tattooed on her right hip.

She frequents the Ventura Avenue area, the Ojai area and the Wheel Bar on California 33 authorities said.

Tipsters can call Ventura County Crime Stoppers’ hotline at 385-TALK or 494-TALK with information.

Tipsters can remain anonymous and if the information leads to conviction could receive rewards of up to $1,000, officials said.
