Anything But Uniform

The man-tailored suit, fall’s biggest runway trend, is open to interpretation. Choose slouchy (not hip-hop baggy) trousers or pencil-leg pants. Go for a Prince of Wales plaid or winter white. Try a skirt over pants; add a tube top under your jacket. Wear silk with pinstripes or lace with gray flannel. Whatever you do, do your own thing. In L.A., where personal style rules, nothing could be more suitable.
