Imagine a world in which hip-hop deejays, Indian vocalists and Mexican percussionists meet on the street and create a sound system for bell-bottomed cyber-hippies. This U.K. collective, which has a strange affinity for Spanish, Latin American and Latino culture (“Clandestine Operation” samples a classic Cheech & Chong skit) perfects the art of hybrid dance and lines its tracks with the fattest beats this side of fellow Bristol artist Tricky.
