Center Offers Free Computer Classes

The Telecommunity Center will offer free computer classes on a wide range of subjects in December.

The center is supported by the city and state to encourage telecommuting. On Tuesday at 7 p.m., computer expert Howard Engel will discuss computer operating systems.

In another class held at the same time, students can learn to surf the Internet with Brian McBreen.

A class in Spanish on both the IBM and Macintosh will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m.

On Thursday at 7 p.m. students can learn how to find financial information on the World Wide Web. And on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. until noon, beginners can learn the basics of the computer.

Classes are free but registration is necessary. The center is at 2100 Thousand Oaks Blvd.
