Shinnick Gets a Mention

Former El Camino Real High and Valley College safety Chris Shinnick of Hawaii received honorable mention on the All-Western Athletic Conference football team.

Shinnick was second for the Rainbows with 140 tackles.

Wired: Tackle Jim Ghezzi of Glendale College was selected second-team All-American by the J.C. Gridwire. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound sophomore attended Loyola High before spending his freshman year at Villanova.
