Festival of Lights to Open With L.A. Landmarks Theme
The Second Annual Light Festival in Griffith Park will be unveiled today with what organizers promise are “dazzling new scenes” along the mile-long holiday light extravaganza.
This year’s theme, “L. A. Landmarks” will feature light vignettes of Los Angeles International Airport, the Port of Los Angeles, Hollywood Bowl and Venice Beach.
The first light festival drew an estimated 340,000, and up to 500,000 people are expected to view the festival this year. It is on display until Dec. 28.
