In other Woodbridge Tournament games:
Cerritos 73, Fountain Valley 48--Kelly Boeke scored 13 points to lead Fountain Valley (0-3). Cerritos (3-0) will face San Clemente at 7:30 p.m. today for the championship.
Mater Dei 65, Woodbridge 44--Kristen Kirkpatrick and Ana Gray each scored 11 points to lead Mater Dei, which will play Esperanza in the third-place game at 6 p.m.
Natalie Quinn scored 18 points to lead Woodbridge.
In the Century Lady Centurion Classic:
Century 61, Sonora 42--Aprile Powell broke Century’s scoring record for the second time this week, scoring 34 points Friday night to help Century advance to today’s final against No. 7 El Toro. On Wednesday night, Powell broke the record when she scored 32. Powell also grabbed 16 rebounds and teammate Yvette Martinez scored 10 points.
Sonora (3-1) playing without Sarah Fister, who has a sprained ankle, was led by Brandi Davis with 12 points.
In the Etiwanda Tournament:
Brea Olinda 76, Don Lugo 45--Amanda Strum led the Wildcats with 20 points and 10 rebounds. Lindsay Davidson added 16 points, three rebounds, seven assists, and two steals.
In the Fullerton girls’ basketball tournament:
Garden Grove 47, Santa Ana 27--Gloria Rojas had nine points, nine rebounds and six steals for Garden Grove (1-2). Teammate Katie Werdel added 15 points and seven rebounds.
Loara 60, Magnolia 31--Shawnna Walker scored 22 points as Loara won is fourth consecutive game of the season. Natalie Smeets had 15 points for Loara.
Valencia 54, Bolsa Grande 33--Monika Jackley scored 21 points in a pool-play victory for Valencia. Teammate Sara Ludwig scored 10 points for Valencia.
In the Irvine tournament:
Foothill 61, Aliso Niguel 44--Rebekah Cole scored 15 points to lead Foothill (2-0) to the second-round victory. Kristin Moorehouse led all scorers with 22 points for Aliso Niguel (1-1).
In the Mayfair/Bellflower tournament:
Redondo Beach Redondo Union 44, Los Alamitos 39--Kristin Geoffroy set a school-record with 15 blocked shots in a consolation loss for Los Alamitos (1-3). Geoffroy also scored 20 points and had 10 rebounds.
In nonleague girls’ basketball:
Liberty Christian 37, Victor Valley 29--Stephanie Wu led Liberty Christian with 20 points, going 9-for-18 from the floor. She also had four steals.
