Trojans Take Chances Outside
Against Nevada Las Vegas on Tuesday, the Trojans (4-2) made six of 25 from behind the arc, and the team’s best perimeter shooter, forward Adam Spanich, missed all four of his three-point shots in USC’s 82-72 defeat.
“I don’t really think that I should have nights like that,” Spanich said. “If I hit a couple of those shots, we win that game. If I do what I’m supposed to do--set my feet, square up with the basket--I believe I should hit all my shots.”
