Trojans Prevail in Consolation Game

Junior forward Adrain Williams had a game-high 17 points and junior guard Kristin Clark scored 15 to lead the USC women to a 67-57 victory over Coppin State in the consolation game of the Dial Soap Classic at Lawrence, Kan.
The Trojans (2-2), who forced 24 turnovers, took control in the first half with a 9-0 run to a 26-16 lead. Sophomore guard Kiyoko Miller had five steals for the Trojans. Coppin State is 2-2.
