GOVERNMENT CONTRACT AWARDS
Systems Application & Technologies Inc. of Oxnard won a $2.1-million contract from the Navy in Port Hueneme for logistics and technical services to support the Aegis outfitting program.
* Sergent’s Mechanical Systems Inc. of Oxnard won a $2-million contract from Travis Air Force Base for a fire-suppression system, pump house and fire water mains.
* SDR Technologies Inc. of Westlake Village won a $1.8-million contract from the Federal Election Commission in Washington, D.C., for electronic filing/updating design and implementation.
* Golden State Medical Supply Inc. of Valencia won a $725,000 contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs in Hines, Ill., for pharmaceuticals.
* Llamas Plastics Inc. of Sylmar won two contracts, of $444,960 and $152,440, from Kelly Air Force Base in Texas for movable canopy panels.
* Billy Kent in Northridge won a $150,000 contract from the Department of Housing and Urban Development in Denver for specification writer services for the Los Angeles HUD office.
* Condor Pacific Industries Inc. of Thousand Oaks won a $122,850 contract from the Defense General Supply Center in Richmond, Va., for instruments and laboratory equipment.
* Kylo Construction Corp. in Mission Viejo has been awarded a contract for $121,673 from Ventura County to complete the North El Rio Drain. The project will allow storm water to flow from Basin 1 to Basin 2.
Work is scheduled to begin this month and should be completed by Jan. 14.
* Hydrodone in Burbank won a $107,550 contract from the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington, D.C., for research and development.
* California Microwave Inc. of Woodland Hills won a $101,110 contract from the Army at Ft. Monmouth, N.J., for message switch-system spare parts.
* Bahr Machine Co. in Chatsworth won an $82,125 contract from Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma for aircraft components and accessories.
* Kalban Inc. in Sun Valley has been awarded a $79,731 contract from Ventura County to install handicapped-access ramps on sidewalks in Newbury Park. The project will include retrofitting existing curbs in an area bounded by Borchard Road to the south, Wendy Drive to the east, Old Conejo Road to the north and Jenny Drive to the west.
The project is scheduled to begin Dec. 23 and to be completed Feb. 19.
* Datron / Transco Inc. of Simi Valley won a $54,260 contract from the Navy in Mechanicsburg, Pa., for transmitter synchros.
* Litton Systems Inc. of Woodland Hills won a $51,765 contract from the Defense General Supply Center in Richmond, Va., for regulator converters.
