Opponent--Philadelphia Rage.
Time--7:30.
Records--Long Beach 11-9, Philadelphia 8-13.
Site--Pyramid, Long Beach State.
Update--Hoping that the updated version of Venus Lacy can generate a mid-season surge, the StingRays will try to register their fourth two-game winning streak tonight. The Rage, last in the ABL’s Eastern Conference, is 0-2 against Long Beach. Lacy scored three consecutive times in 2 1/2 minutes Sunday, lifting Long Beach to a 75-70 victory over Colorado in a game in which she had 20 points and eight rebounds. In Friday’s 11-point loss to Colorado at Denver, she had 13 points and 11 rebounds. Tonight’s game matches the ABL’s No. 2 and 3 assist leaders. Philly’s Dawn Staley averages 7.1 and Long Beach’s Andrea Nagy 6.4.
