Carolyn Jones scored 21 points as the New England Blizzard beat the Atlanta Glory, 83-78, in front of an announced 9,164 Friday night at Hartford, Conn.
Dale Hodges added 18 points for New England, which improved to 12-12.
Player-coach Teresa Edwards scored 23 points for Atlanta (10-13), and Tracy Henderson added 15.
New England shot 53% in the first half, outscoring the Glory 21-12 in the first quarter and taking a 43-33 edge into the break.
San Jose 71, Seattle 70--Sheri Sam scored 16 points to lead the Lasers (12-13) over the Reign in front of an announced 3,194 at Seattle.
Val Whiting scored 24 for Seattle (6-18).
