* SAN DIEGO STATE (4-5) at LONG BEACH STATE (3-5), 7:30--Andrew Betts, the 49ers’ first seven-footer, will make his long-awaited debut tonight at the Pyramid. Betts, a senior from England, played at Division II C.W. Post before transferring, and could be the answer to one Long Beach’s biggest problems: size inside. The 49ers come off their highest-scoring game of the season, an 92-83 loss to St. Francis (N.Y.) in overtime. They play a struggling San Diego State team that is led by guard Jason Richey (16.7 points a game).
