The theater company Mabou Mines’ Celtic-flavored post-modern production of “Peter and Wendy” ends Sunday. Liza Lorwin’s magical adaptation of J.M. Barrie’s classic, featuring Karen Kandel’s tour-de-force performance voicing all the characters and Japanese bunraku-style puppetry, ends its run, playing Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2 and 8 p.m.; and Sunday at 2 and 7 p.m. at the Geffen Playhouse, 10886 Le Conte Ave., Westwood. $17.50-$37.50. Benefit
“Stand Up Against Domestic Violence,” a comedy benefit to fight domestic violence, ends Sunday. Comedian Heidi Joyce leads a group of female stand-up comics, including Maria Falzone and Cha Cha Sandoval, in this benefit for the Safe Harbor programs of the Theatre of Hope for Abused Women.
