City’s Sports Park Is Where the Action Is

For low-cost recreation, residents need look no further than the bustling Tustin Sports Park, the city’s largest recreational facility, at 12850 Robinson Drive.

The 20-acre sports park was built in 1995 at a cost of more than $2.5 million and has quickly become the center of recreational life in Tustin.

The park contains three lighted baseball and softball fields, six lighted tennis courts, basketball courts, locker rooms, a pro shop and a concession stand. It also has several acres of multipurpose fields, often used for pickup soccer games, a large picnic area and playgrounds.

In addition, the indoor gymnasium at Columbus Tustin Park, at Prospect Avenue and Irvine Boulevard, is open in the evenings for nonleague adult basketball (Tuesdays and Thursdays) and volleyball (Mondays and Wednesdays).
