Sentence Set Aside

Re “Girl’s Tragic Death Moves Judge, Jury to Look Beyond the Law,” Dec. 25:

This is the triumph of genuine humanity. Greatest praise to the spirit of Canadians and their court. Yes, laws are made by people to serve the best interests of people. One rule does not serve justice in all cases. If it fails in a special circumstance, justice must to be pursued beyond law. This should be a precedent to all countries in the whole world.
