Bullfrog update--This is the first meeting between the teams in the five years of Roller Hockey International. On Wednesday, the Bullfrogs blew a three-goal lead and the Ottawa Wheels beat them, 8-5. Sean Whyte was the bright spot for the Bullfrogs, scoring two goals against Ottawa Wednesday night.
Roadrunner update--Montreal has been hot. The Roadrunners clobbered the Eastern Conference-leading Orlando Jackals, 9-2, last week, then downed New Jersey, 8-5, Sunday. Alain Morissette has been among the league’s best goaltenders, with his 5.94 goals-against average. Last weekend, Montreal acquired Don Martin from New Jersey for Brad Purdie.
