Re the article “Chemicals in Pot Cut Severe Pain, Study Says,” Oct. 27:

Though I felt the article was informative and brought out many interesting things about the drug, it failed, as so many do, to state the dangers to minors (and others) who might take it. I do a lot of counseling to teenagers and their parents on the harmful and illegal use of marijuana but such articles give the wrong message to young people, who use them to point out the good it can do.

Young people are faced with so much nowadays, it would help some to also add the harm it can do. It would only take a line or two to state the dangers.
