White Cap Industries Buys Distributor

COSTA MESA — White Cap Industries Inc. said it has acquired Burke Concrete Accessories LP, a distributor with $25 million in 1996 revenue. Terms were not disclosed.
Burke, which is based in Hayward, Calif., distributes concrete accessories, construction chemicals and rental equipment through nine branches in the West. Burke posted revenue of $25 million last year.
White Cap sells tools and materials to contractors.
