Dick Clark Productions’ Revenue Up, Income Down
Dick Clark Productions Inc. saw its net income fall 62% in its first quarter although revenues climbed by 29%.
The Burbank-based entertainment concern posted net income of $115,000 for the period ending Sept. 30, compared to a profit of $303,000 for the same period a year earlier. Revenues in the latest quarter climbed to $14.1 million, up from $10.9 million last year.
The company said its net income fell because of fewer TV series and special programming.
The company also reached agreement to open its ninth restaurant, Dick Clark’s American Bandstand Grill, near the Dallas-Ft. Worth airport.
