School Club Donates Sundries to Shelter
The Economics Club at Fountain Valley High School recently donated 5,000 toothbrushes, toothpaste and other hygiene products to the Orange Coast Interfaith Shelter in Costa Mesa.
Students in the club delivered bags to each homeroom class and asked their peers to fill them. The class that collected the most won a pizza party.
Items were collected for the club’s annual drive in October and delivered to the shelter last week. Interfaith Shelter volunteers will deliver the sundries to charities throughout Orange County.
