Cal State to Offer Free Master Piano Class
The Pacific Symphony Institute at Cal State Fullerton is offering a free master piano class Thursday.
The public class will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Room 118 of the Performing Arts Building on campus, 800 S. State College Blvd. Pianist Stephen Prutsman will conduct the class.
Prutsman was a top prize winner at the 1990 Tchaikovsky International Piano Competition in Moscow. In 1991, he won second place at the Queen Elizabeth International Piano Competition of Belgium and received the Avery Fisher Career Grant. Prutsman can be heard on the soundtrack of “Immortal Beloved.”
