Fitch to See Another Side of Old Favorite Outlaw
Bo Outlaw was Bill Fitch’s favorite player in his first three seasons as Clipper coach because of his work ethic.
Fitch, stunned when Outlaw rejected a long-term offer from the Clippers to sign a two-year deal with the Orlando Magic last summer, will face Outlaw in tonight’s game against the Magic at Orlando Arena.
Fitch downplayed the reunion.
“We’re not playing Bo, we’re playing the Magic,” Fitch said.
Outlaw has blossomed on offense the last two games.
With Magic guard Penny Hardaway sidelined because of a knee injury, Outlaw shot 84% and averaged 21 points and 12 rebounds in back-to-back wins over Denver and Washington on Friday and Saturday.

Forwards Rodney Rogers (right leg) and Lamond Murray (head and back), who missed the final minutes of Sunday’s game, practiced Monday and are expected to play tonight.
