BOXING
Ringer: Boxer Mia St. John of Woodland Hills will put her 4-0 record on the line in a four-round bout against Dolores Lira of Boise, Idaho, on Nov. 28 at Irvine Marriott.
St. John, who in June signed a promotional contract with Don King Productions, turned pro in February and has knocked out all of her opponents.
St. John is a former kick-boxing champion and swimsuit model. St. John is coming off a first-round knockout of Dawn Wimer in Nashville, Tenn., in August.
Playoff change: The Calabasas-St. Bonaventure playoff football game has been moved from Thursday to Saturday at 7:30 p.m. at Ventura High.
“The Ventura Unified School personnel said they could not get the field ready in time,” said St. Bonaventure Coach Jon Mack.
The Seraphs are the Division X defending champions and beat Calabasas, 34-3, two weeks ago.
