Ice Dogs Quell Thunder
Denis Tsygurov and Russ Romaniuk each scored in a shootout as the Long Beach Ice Dogs defeated the Las Vegas Thunder, 4-3, Wednesday night in International Hockey League play at Long Beach.
Andrei Vasilyev also scored his 15th goal for the Ice Dogs, who overcame a 2-0 deficit. Goaltender Jamie Storr earned his fourth consecutive win, stopping 14 of 17 shots.
