Antelope Valley 51, Victor Valley 7--Brad Norris connected on a 53-yard touchdown pass play to Mark Rethi and scored on a three-yard run for the Marauders (7-3, 6-2), who clinched second place in the Foothill Conference at Antelope Valley.

The Marauders, ranked 17th in the state, scored on their first six possessions, beginning with a 34-yard touchdown run by Marcus Collins late in the first quarter.

Kenneth Grieco recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and Lafayette Bailey’s 25-yard scoring run one play later gave the Marauders the lead for good, 14-7.

Bailey rushed for 83 yards in six carries. Tyree Booker added 75 yards and a touchdown in nine carries and Jan Brown scored a touchdown and ran for 21 yards.

Norris completed three of five passes for 73 yards. Michael Gleich connected on seven of nine passes for 105 yards, including an 11-yard touchdown pass to Ronnie Blair.

The loss was the 24th in a row in conference play for Victor Valley (2-8, 0-8).
