Quarterback Matt Johner, who has helped Kansas to a 4-1 start, will be sidelined for three games because of a broken finger suffered in Saturday’s 20-17 victory over Oklahoma. . . . Notre Dame offensive tackle Chris Clevenger’s football career is over because of a herniated disk in his back. The fifth-year senior has been out since the Purdue game. . . . Florida State kicker Bill Gramatica has quit the team after losing his job to freshman Sebastian Janikowski.
