Jerry Gershwin, 71, producer of such well-known films as “Harper,” “Where Eagles Dare,” “Night of the Following Day,” “Breakheart Pass” and many more. Gershwin was a mail clerk at MCA before becoming an agent there and subsequently a vice president. Working with Elliott Kastner, the two independent producers also made “Kaleidoscope,” “Sweet November,” “The Bobo” and more. On Sept. 17 in Los Angeles of leukemia.
