Golden West Student Earns JPL Award
Golden West student Truong Van Nguyen was recently honored with a $500 scholarship from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena.
Nguyen, of Garden Grove, is a freshman chemical engineering student. Officials said Nguyen was chosen for the award because he shows a high potential for making original contributions in the fields of physical science, engineering, computer science or mathematics.
