Bristol Retail Solutions Inc.: The Newport Beach provider of retail automation products and services said it lost $195,989, or 4 cents a share, for the third quarter, contrasted with net income of $14,566, or less than 1 cent a share, a year ago. Revenue rose to $7.1 million from $2.1 million in the 1996 third quarter, Bristol’s first period of operation. For the first nine months, the company posted a net loss of $1.4 million, or 28 cents a share, compared with a net loss of $16,684 for the 1996 third quarter. Revenue grew to $14.4 million from $2.1 million.
