San Fernando 34, Granada Hills 16--Quarterback Sean Atkins had a hand in all five San Fernando touchdowns against the host Highlanders (1-6, 1-3).
Atkins scored on runs of three, one and one yard and threw two touchdown passes. Atkins connected with junior Terrell Stanley on a 61-yard scoring pass play and with Cedrick Hinkles on a seven-yard strike.
San Fernando (4-3, 2-2) never trailed and led, 26-7, at halftime.
Granada Hills quarterback Richard Mathiesen twice connected with junior Peter Gunny in the end zone on pass plays of seven and five yards.
