3.0 Aftershock Centered Near Simi Valley
SIMI VALLEY —
A small aftershock, registering magnitude 3.0, rattled the San Fernando and Simi valleys Saturday night.
Caltech seismologist Bob Dollar said the quake occurred at 9:02 p.m. The epicenter was two miles southeast of Simi Valley.
The temblor was the latest of more than 14,200 aftershocks recorded since the 1994 Northridge quake, which killed 57 people, injured more than 9,000 and caused more than $25 billion in damage.
