Free Shuttle Offered to Metrolink Commuters
Commuters who want to ride the Riverside Line Metrolink to jobs in the Montebello area may soon be able to catch a free shuttle to work.
The first running of the Montebello Link shuttle service is scheduled to coincide with Monday’s opening of the Montebello/Commerce Metrolink station at 601 S. Vail Ave.
Shuttles are scheduled to pick up passengers at the station Monday through Friday between 5:30 and 8:30 a.m. and take them to their jobs in Bell, Bell Gardens, Commerce, parts of East Los Angeles, Montebello, Monterey Park, Pico Rivera and Rosemead.
The shuttles are scheduled to return to work sites between 4 and 7 p.m. to take commuters back to the station.
