Asian Americans’ Bias Charges
* Re “Asian Americans Charge Fund-Raising Scandal Bias,” Sept. 12: ACLU to the rescue. What better way to put a spin on the illegal fund-raising fiasco by the Democratic National Committee than to call the charges racist.
The truth is, more naturalized Asians are Republicans, and real national security questions have been raised from moneys accepted from communist countries.
If ACLU officials are trying to sue government officials to get the DNC out of debt, they have the whole problem backward. The federal government is in worse shape than the DNC.

* I share many of the concerns and issues raised regarding the bias and stereotyping of Asian Americans in their participation with the political process. How easily Asian Americans become scapegoats, as if they are in a conspiracy to take over this country.
We need fair and unbiased reporting by the media. They should undo some of the tarnished images already portrayed.
I hope that the Civil Rights Commission seriously looks into the concerns stated in the article and restores some of my faith and beliefs in the American political processes.
