Character Counts at Cal Lutheran Lectures
It’s all about character.
Beginning in September, California Lutheran University has scheduled several fall seminars on building character.
Lecture topics include “Character and Gender Relations,” “Commitment to Character” and “Character and Sports.”
Each event is tailored to help teach people how to make principled decisions and learn the relationship between personal choices and their consequences.
The lecture series begins the week of Sept. 7 and continues through Dec. 13. Most of the events on the university’s calendar are free to the public.
For those wanting to try a little theater, a stage production of Thornton Wilder’s “The Skin of Our Teeth” starts Nov. 5 and has several performances through Nov. 15. Carol Goldoni’s “The Servant of Two Masters” will be offered beginning on Nov. 12 and concluding Nov. 22. Tickets are $8 for each show.
