From Bloomberg News

Netscape Communications Corp., an Internet software maker, unveiled a program that lets companies bid for jobs, negotiate contracts and take customer complaints online.

With the software, a company will be able to receive a complaint or bid for a job, pass it around, and send it back to the customer when it’s resolved. Until about a year ago most process-automation software allowed users to communicate only inside a company, Netscape said.

Widely known for its Web browser, Netscape is aiming to sell more software to businesses. The Mountain View-based company also is adding services and features to its Web site to attract more Internet users and create an online hub.
