Condo Fire Routs 3 Families
Fire gutted a Buena Park condominium and damaged two others Saturday, leaving three families homeless.
The fire broke out about 8 a.m. in the 4900 block of Argyle Avenue. Two children in one home discovered the blaze and alerted their parents, said Dennis Shell, a spokesman for the Orange County Fire Authority.
The fire heavily damaged the condominium, and smoke left two other units uninhabitable, Shell said. But no one was injured.
Firefighters were trying to determine the cause of the blaze, which caused an estimated $130,000 in damage.
