VIGILANTES ON DECK
vs. Pacific Suns
* 7:05 p.m. today-Thursday
Site--Oxnard College
Radio--KPLS (830)
Records--Suns 12-23; Vigilantes 19-16
Record vs. Suns--7-0
Update--The timing could not be better for the Vigilantes. They will play Pacific six times this week (Saturday and Sunday at home) while Sonoma County, in second place and three games in front of Mission Viejo for the last playoff spot, must play Southern Division-leading Chico for six consecutive games. The Suns, 25-55 overall, are trying to avoid finishing with the worst record in league history. The Grays Harbor Gulls were 31-59 in 1995. The Suns are the only league team without at least 400 runs scored, 700 hits and 40 home runs.
