Leadership Award Nominations Open
Nominations are being accepted for the 10th annual Latino Leadership Awards, sponsored by the advocacy group El Concilio del Contado de Ventura.
Honors are given to county residents who have made an outstanding contribution to the betterment of the area’s Latino community.
Awards will be presented in seven categories: young people up to 22 years old, business, cultural arts, labor, education, community service and health.
The nomination deadline is Oct. 23. Awards will be presented Jan. 30 at a reception in Oxnard. For nomination forms or more information, call 486-9777.
