Museum to Display World War II Planes
Various World War II aircraft--including a C-46 “China Doll” transport, a Navy F8F-2 Bearcat fighter and a Japanese “Zero” fighter--will be on display during Labor Day weekend from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Confederate Air Force Museum.
The Southern California Wing of the Confederate Air Force Camarillo branch will be holding the open house at the Camarillo Airport museum all three days of the holiday weekend.
For a small donation, visitors may take tours of the C-46 transport and a Martin 404 airliner.
Also available for viewing will be a Russian fighter, a B-25 Mitchell bomber and an SNJ/AT6 trainer.
