Rockwell Distribution
Rockwell Electronic Commerce, a division of Costa Mesa-based Rockwell International Corp., said Monday it has signed a worldwide joint distribution agreement with Edify Corp. in order to expand its product line.
Rockwell Electronic, based in Wood Dale, Ill., specializes in developing software and technology for corporate call centers. Santa Clara-based Edify is a leading maker of software used in automated service systems.
The partnership has already helped Rockwell land new orders from four customers, “which has resulted in almost a million dollars in revenue,” according to Michael Caglarcan, vice president and general manager of Rockwell Electronic Commerce.
This is the second joint distribution agreement that Rockwell Electronic has announced in the last week. On Thursday, Rockwell said it will form a strategic alliance with wireless phone giant Ericsson in order to expand its European, Australian and Asian markets. The company declined to discuss financial details of the partnership.
