BUSINESS CALENDAR
* The Ventura-Oxnard chapter of the National Assn. of Women in Construction will hold a holiday party at 6 p.m. today at Logsdon’s Restaurant, 824 E. Santa Maria St., Santa Paula. The event will include an auction, with proceeds used for the Dean McCulley Memorial Scholarship Fund.

* A consultants support group meeting will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Gold Coast Small Business Development Center, Suite 310, 5700 Ralston St., Ventura. The event will feature networking with other consultants, along with suggestions on marketing and how to conduct engagements.

* Los Padres chapter of the American Society for Training and Development will hold its holiday party at 6 p.m. Dec. 10 at the Pierpont Inn, 550 Sanjon Road, Ventura. Attendees are asked to bring a $5 wrapped gift for another member.
The cost is $20 for members with reservations by noon Monday, $27 after the reservation deadline and $27 for nonmembers. Make reservations at 655-5566.
