IRVINE
As requested by the Orange County Transportation Authority, the City Council will submit its opinions and suggestions about the proposed 28-mile urban rail system at tonight’s meeting. OCTA, which aims to begin construction on the project in 2000, has asked all affected city councils to offer their opinions and will begin preparing the project’s environmental impact report next month.
