CHP Seeks Witnesses to Fatal Hit-and-Run
WEST SAN FERNANDO VALLEY — Stymied by a lack of leads, the California Highway Patrol has asked that any witnesses to a fatal hit-and-run accident Nov. 1 on the Simi Valley Freeway come forward.
Som Gaur, 30, of Granada Hills, who worked for the Auto Club of Southern California, was struck about 3:05 a.m. while changing a flat tire for a stranded driver in the eastbound lane near Topanga Canyon Boulevard.
