The ‘High Life,’ Indeed
Paul Brownfield’s story about condos in the Wilshire Corridor (“The High Life,” Jan. 18) was very informative. However, it seemed one crucial piece of information was missing. I understand the monthly service charges in these condos, for all those special services that a condo staff provides, run from $500 to $1,000 a month--which is quite a monthly kicker.
Maybe when you’re paying $600,000 to $3 million for a condo, the monthly service fee is considered small potatoes. But I doubt it.
