Council to Consider 45-Home Development
A plan to build 45 single-family homes next to Alta Vista Country Club will be considered Tuesday by the City Council.
Polygon/Hunsaker & Associates Inc. of Irvine is seeking approval to subdivide the 10-acre site at Alta Vista Street and Rose Drive to build the homes. The council also will consider a request to change the parcel’s land-use designation; the property had been slated for a commercial project.
The developer still must submit more detailed plans for the houses, including floor plans. City planning officials said some of the houses would be next to the golf course.
The meeting begins at 7:30 p.m. in council chambers, 401 E. Chapman Ave. Information: (714) 993-8231.
