A Chance to Learn if You Could Teach

Is teaching for you?

You can find out in a class starting Jan. 20 at Orange Coast College.

The course will examine opportunities, requirements, responsibilities and rewards found in professional teaching. Discussion will also focus on volunteer classroom assistants.

OCC instructors Tom Garrison and Jay Zimmerman will teach the three-unit course. Garrison teaches marine science; Zimmerman is an English professor.

Registration for the course is underway in the campus admissions office, which is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
