Real Estate Trust Buys Thousand Oaks Buildings
TriNet Corporate Realty Trust Inc. in San Francisco has acquired two office buildings in Thousand Oaks for about $22 million.
The Dec. 31 transaction brings the company’s 1997 acquisitions to $462 million.
The properties are in Conejo Corporate Center, a 50-acre, master-planned office/research-and-development park. The two adjacent properties are leased to WellPoint Health Networks Inc., one of the nation’s largest publicly traded managed health-care companies.
The first property, a two-story office/research-and-development building completed in 1986, comprises 106,560 square feet on a 6.72-acre site. The second property, a recently completed, build-to-suit project, is a two-story office building with 111,053 square feet on 5.77 acres.
TriNet is a real estate investment trust that acquires, owns and manages office and industrial properties leased to major corporations across the nation. Its portfolio of 118 properties includes more than 16.7-million square feet in 25 states.
