EMT, Drafting Classes Offered
The Conejo Valley Adult School is offering a nine-week class on emergency medical care, beginning Jan. 19.
The program, which costs $543, includes all the components of state and county emergency medical technician certification. Ambulance and fire department internships are arranged for participants.
The adult school also will offer an eight-week session of computer-aided drafting beginning Feb. 4. The $495 program, which will result in a certificate, can be helpful in the design, construction, architecture, engineering, landscaping and interior design industries and to enhance graphic capabilities. The beginning/intermediate course will be held from 6 to 9 p.m., and the advanced course from 1 to 4 p.m. Both courses will be on Wednesdays.
