Roberts Says He Holds No Grudge Against Fitch
Center Stanley Roberts, in Clipper Coach Bill Fitch’s doghouse the last three seasons, said he bears no ill will toward his former coach.
“I have nothing against Bill Fitch,” Roberts said. “I’m not there and I’m not under his rule no more. I don’t hold grudges. Life is too short. I’ve put everything behind me that happened with the Clippers.”’
Roberts, traded to the Minnesota Timberwolves for center Stojko Vrankovic in a draft-day deal last June, had four points, six rebounds and four blocked shots in 16 minutes as the Timberwolves extended their winning streak to a team-record six games with a 117-109 victory over the Clippers on Monday.

Fitch held guard Pooh Richardson out of his fourth consecutive game.
Although Richardson has been held out of six of the last eight games, he didn’t complain.
“I’m not worrying about that,” Richardson said. “I can play. I go to practice every day, I work hard and I play my game. I’m happy with myself.”
